Logo Contest

You’ve seen that neat ComFest T-shirt that all the volunteers are wearing. YOU can design the logo for next year. Every year we put out a call for folks to bring their ideas for a logo design.

Designs must have the dates June 24, 25, & 26, 2022 and the name “Community Festival” and must incorporate the Hopewell symbol into the logo. Images need to be camera-ready and one color image (no grayscale). After the first of next year, go to comfest.com and look for the logo contest link for more details.

There are two 2021 T-shirt options - the winning logo design by Jack Hamman and the runner-up design by Hillary Frambes. You will probably want at least one of each.

There is also the collectible mug with the 2021 logo design and the slogan: DEFEND and EXTEND VOTING RIGHTS.

Repurposing old volunteer ComFest T-shirts is fun and a trifecta. You support a great cause and get an item you can use, support local artisans who created these unique limited quantity items, and we get them out of the warehouse.

A portion of every festival purchase comes back to fund the Community Festival grants program. Since 2006, ComFest has awarded more than $330,000 to organizations and projects that promote the ComFest Statement of Principles. Wear a little ComFest all year long.

Happy ComFest!

Welcome to Community Festival 2026! For 54 years, ComFest has been the progressive heartbeat of Columbus and central Ohio.

ComFest is a free event, powered by Community and sustained without corporate sponsors. Featuring the very best local music, progressive political activism and community organizing, local artisans and craftspeople and your favorite summer foods, ComFest brings the community together.

ComFest has nurtured the Columbus arts and entertainment scene, nourished small businesses, energized generations of community activists, and positioned progressive ideals front and center in our growing city.

The costs to put on this extraordinary event increase every year. Whether its permits, safety and security, trash and recycling supplies, stages and sound equipment, libations or any number of expenses, the costs of putting on this free and all volunteer weekend continue to outrun the revenues.

We’d like to take a moment to ask you to consider supporting ComFest financially. Now more than ever, this unique and vital event must be here for the next generation of ComFesters and your support can ensure the legacy begun 54 years ago lives on.

Thank you for being here: For volunteering, for supporting local music, for purchasing ComFest beverages, for shopping at Street Fair, and for signing up to protect the principles and values we all stand and fight for.

Please click here to keep the “Party with a Purpose” going strong.
Have a great ComFest.
