Mary Beth was a memorable vendor on Street Fair for thirteen years. She sold colorful collectible folk art from places such as Guatemala and Mexico. She also found treasures in flea markets and local thrift stores. She loved to travel and found many interesting items for both selling and collecting. Her booth had interesting vintage jewelry, clothes, and hats which drew in old friends and new friends to peruse, purchase or just engage in conversation. Mary Beth graciously shared her husband Dave's talents working with the ComFest Program Committee.
Happy ComFest!
Welcome to Community Festival 2026! For 54 years, ComFest has been the progressive heartbeat of Columbus and central Ohio.
ComFest is a free event, powered by Community and sustained without corporate sponsors. Featuring the very best local music, progressive political activism and community organizing, local artisans and craftspeople and your favorite summer foods, ComFest brings the community together.
ComFest has nurtured the Columbus arts and entertainment scene, nourished small businesses, energized generations of community activists, and positioned progressive ideals front and center in our growing city.
The costs to put on this extraordinary event increase every year. Whether its permits, safety and security, trash and recycling supplies, stages and sound equipment, libations or any number of expenses, the costs of putting on this free and all volunteer weekend continue to outrun the revenues.
We’d like to take a moment to ask you to consider supporting ComFest financially. Now more than ever, this unique and vital event must be here for the next generation of ComFesters and your support can ensure the legacy begun 54 years ago lives on.
Thank you for being here: For volunteering, for supporting local music, for purchasing ComFest beverages, for shopping at Street Fair, and for signing up to protect the principles and values we all stand and fight for.
Pleaseclick hereto keep the “Party with a Purpose” going strong. Have a great ComFest.
