The Volunteer Central committee is responsible for organizing volunteers for the festival, as well as general volunteer recruitment and retention.
During the festival, VC is found at the Information Station, the hub of the Community Festival. Our volunteers provide everything from how to find your favorite stage, when your band is playing, how to find your favorite street fair vendor, or where the best food is at. Additionally, The Information Station has plenty of program guides and is home to the Lost & Found.
The VC committee services as a central communication point for all other committees within the ComFest organization. We gather recruitment and placement suggestions, we help assure that pre-festival administrative work is completed. We even help the other committees meet their administrative requirements when staffing runs short.
