The Tech committee is typically responsible for running all IT for pre-festival production and on-site at the festival, as well as administering the organization’s infrastructure 365 days a year.
In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic prohibited the organization from hosting its annual physical festival in Goodale Park the last weekend of June. To ensure that the Community Festival could continue its commitment to benefit the community – including community organizations, vendors, performers, speakers and the grant recipients of ComFest’s 501(c)(3) annual donations to local charitable organizations – Tech Committee and organizers have created Virtual ComFest 2020 here within comfest.com as an online representation of our physical festival.
This was made possible by the festival organizers and volunteers that make ComFest happen every year, and the hundreds of performers and speakers whose performances and workshops are presented here virtually for ComFest 2020 in place of onstage in Goodale Park.
