Sing-Out Stage Performer Information

The Sing-Out Stage is a newer stage that debuted at ComFest 2024! It is designed to showcase solo and duo acoustic performers, including singer/songwriter troubadours and vocalists. It is a tented stage with a smaller configuration of approximately 10×20, located at the southeast entrance to Goodale Park at the corner of Park and W. Goodale Streets.

Parking and Gates

  • Park – Go to the corner of High Street and Goodale street, and west on Goodale to the performer parking area. Attendants will direct you through the barricades. You will park your vehicle with your pass on your dashboard, which have your name and phone number written on it clearly.

  • 1 Shure SM-58 microphone on boom mic stand
  • 1 Sennheiser e935 microphone on boom mic stand 
  • Bose L1 Pro portable PA
  • 4-channel Behringer mixer
    • 2 vocal XLR channels with EQ
    • 2-3 instrument 1/4″ channels with EQ
    • Bluetooth connection for pre-recorded accompaniment music
    • Headphone stereo input for pre-recorded accompaniment music

Welcome to Community Festival 2026! For 54 years, ComFest has been the progressive heartbeat of Columbus and central Ohio.

ComFest is a free event, powered by Community and sustained without corporate sponsors. Featuring the very best local music, progressive political activism and community organizing, local artisans and craftspeople and your favorite summer foods, ComFest brings the community together.

ComFest has nurtured the Columbus arts and entertainment scene, nourished small businesses, energized generations of community activists, and positioned progressive ideals front and center in our growing city.

The costs to put on this extraordinary event increase every year. Whether its permits, safety and security, trash and recycling supplies, stages and sound equipment, libations or any number of expenses, the costs of putting on this free and all volunteer weekend continue to outrun the revenues.

We’d like to take a moment to ask you to consider supporting ComFest financially. Now more than ever, this unique and vital event must be here for the next generation of ComFesters and your support can ensure the legacy begun 54 years ago lives on.
