Vote! – What you need to know

As you likely know, a general election is coming up. Due to Covid-19 many people will be voting with an absentee ballot. To request an absentee ballot, go to https://www.vote.franklincountyohio.gov and click on the absentee ballot request form. (You can also verify your eligibility to vote at this site.) Fill out the form and mail to

If you have questions about your absentee ballot request you should call the board of elections at (614) 525-3470
You can return your ballot either in person at the board of elections at 1700 Morse Rd., Columbus, 43229 or by U.S. mail. It is important to note that a mailed ballot requires 2 stamps. All ballots must be received prior to polls closing on Election Day, Nov. 3, 2020. If mailed, the ballot must be post-marked no later than the day before the election.
You can still vote absentee in person at the Franklin County Board of Elections at 1700 Morse Rd. The hours currently are
October 6-16 (Weekdays ONLY)
8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.
October 19 – 23 (Weekedays ONLY)
8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 24
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, October 25
1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
October 26-30 (Weekdays ONLY)
8:00 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturday, October 31
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, Nov 1
1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
 Monday, November 2
8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
There is no absentee voting on Election Day!
