Getting to ComFest

Go Green. Ride your bicycle to ComFest. Forget about the hassle of parking and the price of gas. Pedal your way to better health and a healthier planet.

How does it work? Easy. Ride your bike to the corral’s expanded location at Dennison and Buttles Avenue, the northwest corner of Goodale Park. Fill out a ticket with your name, phone number, and miles ridden to the event, and secure the ticket to your handlebars. Remove everything you need from the bike, then leave it with volunteers. Take the tear-off claim check off the ticket and enjoy ComFest. When you’re ready to leave, take your claim check to the volunteers to retrieve your bike. Tip as you are able. Tips help us maintain and expand equipment.

What happens if you lose my claim check? Volunteers staffing the corral will ask for a picture ID to match the name on the bike’s ticket. If there is a line of people waiting to retrieve bikes, you will be asked to wait until the line clears so we can put the attention of several people on finding your bike.

The bike corral is open Friday: 10 am – 12 midnight; Saturday: 9:30 am-12 midnight; Sunday: 9:30 am-10pm

What happens if I leave my bike past closing time?  Volunteers sell it to the highest bidder. Just kidding, we are ComFest volunteers – we DONATE it to Third Hand Bike Co-op. In all seriousness, try to retrieve your bike  before we close. The corral is not staffed overnight and  ComFest is not responsible for damage or theft after the festival closes for the night.
