Our general committee meetings are open to all.  We would love to have you join us at the organizing level.  All meetings are held at the Goodale Park Residence House. 

If you can't sign up in advance, go to Volunteer Central at the festival.  There are always volunteer opportunities.

Comfest 2008 will be held from 12 noon on Friday, June 27 through 10 PM on Sunday, June 29.

The Community Festival cannot exist without volunteers: it is a volunteer-driven event that relies on the community to assist in bringing together everything that has become Comfest. One of the best things about the event is that we have no corporate sponsors and, therefore, none of the ubiquitous advertisements you see at every other festival. Plus, admission is FREE!

Your help would be greatly appreciated and rewarding.

In exchange for volunteering for a short shift (usually 4 hours) you will receive a Comfest T-Shirt—available to Volunteers only—and in many cases, tokens, redeemable for beer and/or food, PLUS the satisfaction of knowing you're helping improve YOUR community. Shifts, on average, last four hours... and after all, working Comfest-style means you should enjoy what you're doing.
